We have a new one for our collection now too, called Rudolph Unleashed, so we decided to unleash this slot review to give you more details.

How many reels and lines are involved here?

You can expect five reels to appear, with four icons landing in view on each of them. You won’t find any paylines though, since the game uses Connecting Ways. There are 178 of those, confirmed in the paytable.

That covers all the Connecting Ways you can win with, so it’s a reasonable starting point. You can also check a range of other bet amounts, with $20 coming out as the biggest of those.

Can you expect to find any special icons in play here?

You can. Santa is the scatter symbol, so his jolly face is good to spot. He will only arrive over reels two through four though. You can spot the wild symbol everywhere, and this looks like the word itself with a few festive decorations to brighten it up. It won’t replace the scattered Santa, though. Finally, Rudolph can appear on the fifth reel as a Moving Wild.

Get ready to find these bonus features in action

Three appearances of Santa over the middle reels will hold those in place with three respins to play. Each new Santa icon appearing will give you another respin to prolong the round. You end the feature when you finish your respins or if you get a Moving Wild on reel five.

The Moving Wild feature moves Rudolph one reel over to the left with each spin. This feature unlocks only if you don’t have Santas anywhere else (unless you’re in the respin feature). If another Moving Wild lands during the first appearance of Rudolph, it remains in place until Rudolph disappears, at which point the second Moving Wild begins its progress.

The game offers a Chasing Wild feature too. You need one Moving Wild and one scattered Santa to get this. You will see the wild move toward the scatter, leaving a trail of wild symbols in its wake, so it’s a good feature to get if you want a good chance of a prize or two.
